The main evening bulliten as aired on SAS 7 Adelaide in June of 2002.

The presenters:
News with Graeme Goodings (now weekend reader) and Jane Doyle, Sport with Chris Dittmar and Weather with Naula Hafner - who would leave Adelaide in search of a bigger career in Sydney - only to end up being, once again; the weather girl: for 7 Sydney (mind you not a bad gig!)

Dog attacks, the soccer world cup and Paul McCartney and Heather Mills - when times were good; they make the days top stories.

Clip also features the opener for the statebased Today Tonight with then presenter Leigh McClusky.

shit,its like theres a bunch of work experience kids putting together and running the Seven News Adelaide service, that was a really fucken shit put together presentation of the Seven news bulletin

What are you on? Seriously there is little wrong with the presentation of that bulliten - the graphics essentially mirrored those of the network at the time - and production is pretty slick really... Not to mention: very warm and friendly - and the ratings were Excellent.

The only noticable difference between SAS serivces and others at the time: The Set - which they ammended in 2003... which coincidently (or not) saw with it a ratings drop.

What I don't get is why it is so hard to show headline text in the opener. To this day, Seven News Adelaide still does not display any headlines.

Seven News Adelaide has led in the ratings for such a long time, eh? I remember that the Adelaide and Perth bulletins were "setting the example" for the east coast. (Sydney led since 05, Melbourne in patches since 06 and Brisbane since 07 and before that 89-01)
