Trailer Uchuu Senkan Yamato Fukkatsu hen (Space Battleship Yamato)

La página oficial de la película Yamato Fukkatsu-hen, muestra dos videos promocionales para el film, que estrena el próximo 12 de diciembre en Japón. El primer video es un teaser de 30 segundos, y luego está el trailer de 1:30 min (este último puede verse bajo estas líneas).




Yamato Fukkatsu-hen fue anunciada en agosto de 2008 y durante la Tokyo Anime Fair de este año, se dieron a conocer más detalles del proyecto, siendo lo más nuevo de esta franquicia desde hace 26 años. La historia de la película estará situada en el año 2220, 21 años después de la historia original y 17 años luego del último film, Final Yamato. Un enorme agujero negro amenaza con tragarse a la Tierra, por lo que se inicia una operación de emigración al espacio, hacia Amaaru, situado a 27.000 años luz. La flota de transporte es atacada y la nave Yamato se encarga de liderizar el contraataque. El protagonista de la serie, Susumu Kodai, (ahora con 38 años) es el capitán de la nave. Un nuevo personaje en la historia será Miyuki, la hija de Susumu y Yuki.

Además de este proyecto, en fechas recientes también se anunció un film de acción real para Yamato, el cual no está ligado a los realizadores de Fukkatsu-hen.

Yuki may be a collective picture of the reasons(lover/wife, family, peaceful homeland, etc) for which an honorable man fights to protect, risking everything. In this movie, if Yuki is dead already... I really do not wish to watch!! I mean, I won't treat this work as the sequal to "Yamato" series in my heart. T T

That's the thing, anniesmyth. The subject of the phrase could be either Yamato or Susumu. And the "beloved one" which often appears in Yamato's mottoes could be any crew's lover/family members or the entire mankind or Yuki in this case. I think the anime "Yamato" always retains the deep, manly sentiment of "I'm the only one to protect my home country" in an impossible situation of Japan at the end of WW II. That's why it's so sad and beautiful. (They had no idea how humane&nice then-USA was.)

Yuki's maiden name is "Yuki Mori" in Western way. (She is known as "Mori Yuki.") For some reasons, male characters are usually called by the last names and the females are called by the first names in Yamato. "Yuki" means snow and "mori" means forest.

Here is more. The evil alien force goes, "Without annihilation of Earthlings, our federation cannot prosper." Anyone said the similar thing? In 2220AD, the Earth will be swallowed up by a blackhole in 3 months, and Yamato must protect 600 million earthlings immigrating to Planet Amar. Yamato is the only hope left for mankind. Miyuki says, "Daddy, help the Earth!" Kodai wants to protect Planet Earth, not just the people. The last narration goes, "All for the Beloved!" It's unmistakingly Yamato!!

Replying to your question, anniesmyth: Sado said, "I'm not leaving. Miyuki, Kodai(your father) fought because his beloved people were waiting for him(on earth)." And the name on the cap says "Yuki Kodai". Yuki looks like Starsha^^
