  • I first saw Freddie at the city hall in Cork, He was supporting Eric Clapton that night,

I remember the impact that Freddies genius had on me,

I was always a Clapton fan, but...

I seemed to 'grow out ' of Clapton, but never Freddie.

    LOVE the guy.......!

  • Fred is a genius and a gentleman a national treasure

  • Freddie- pure genius is right. We had him in USA and we loved him while he lived here.. We were blessed to have him @ our venue- amazing and wonderful night. He is sorely missed. You surely do have a national treasure in his music, gravely passionate and pure vocals, fabulous mastery of that guitar. But you won him back! Good on you. Our loss.

  • @LIMERICKNAT1 look he's ok, decent i've listened to him many years, and seen him play live. No complaints, but let's be fair he's no genius. He doesn't deserve that, he's a decent performer, no more no less

  • The Cellers Clanbrassell St Dundalk, 85-86,, . The performance, Splendid.. Brilliant, Hope everything ok with u Freddy. All the best..

  • Saw Freddie bring the house down at the Mean Fiddler way back in 86/87 when he played this song. Like meself he had a full head of hair then. Apart from that nothings changed.

  • He plays a better version of this than anyone else, brilliant

  • Thought only Tom Waits sang this song. Lovely version.
