@kebeandfast - I live in Bangkok and there was nothing peaceful at all. The reds were stopping ordinary folk from getting to work and kids to school by intimidating a big part of the city. There were many roadblocks and they forcefully stopped motorists to search their cars and beat you up if you refused.
They even blocked a family from getting their sick kid to hospital, the mother went mad at them. There were bombings of banks and government buildings.

This video is a propaganda. Lots of statesments, moody music, no proof.
I still search evidence.

Thailand has been going down hill since a long time, at least since the students riot in the early 90's, its gone way too commercial, airports everywhere 7 eleven all over once untouched islands, now this will be the straw that breaks the donkeys back, Thaksin- Som num naa ! you cheating bastard! I will continue to go to Cambodia. I did love this country once but now its fucked, I'm sorry to say :(

put in jail. Thaksin is the one responsible for destroying my beautiful country. He pays the poor northerners to form the red shirts and riot against the government so that he can return to thailand to take over. I can't explain how much i dislike Thaksin, he is a terrible person when he was in office and he still is look at what he started! i am outraged by his ignorance to be so selfish that he could do this to our country just so he can take over. It is extremely sad.

I just want to tell you that the reds are not good people as you think they are. They support Thaksin, who is a terribly corrupt man that is why he was removed from office. It angers me to see on the news that Thaksin is the innocent one in this situation. He is was terribly corrupt and was never thought of the thai people only himself. by being corrupt is how he became so rich off the peoples money! He was accused of fraud and left the country or be forced to

i wanna see drive bys and grenade throwing were do i catch that kinda footage i wanna see blood! blood! blood!

noice i knew i had known the helicopter sounds from somewere the end the doors good song
I did as well, and all of this is breaking my heart. I never thought it would go on so long. I worry that other factions are using the reds as a cover to carry out assassinations and they are the ones doing the grenade throwing and drive-by shootings. Besides all the loss of life, there's the huge impact on the economy and Thailand's reputation as a safe destination. It had been a good tourist year after a very bad one, but not now. Everybody loses.

That day, after a peaceful monthin the city, the reds took it back a tv station the gov't had cut off. The security forces were then ordered to clear protesters that night. There are military trained, heavily armed men within the reds. Maybe they instigate the violence. The heart of the matter is making the (appointed not elected) gov't quit. The timing of when a gov't changes is critical because the head of the army will be replaced this fall and the standing gov't chooses him.

Thank you, I hope it's over soon too, it's tragic on so many levels. Keep safe.
