A simple drill to learn to first become aware of others movement within long and short ranges and learn to move as one with partners and than to learn to move within a resisting partner movement so you can stay free and relaxed as you work and survive. Many times you can avoid a conflict by being aware and humble. As a drill to the watcher see if you know who is playing which part in the video.

  • Hi Shannon! Great videos, as always!

The audio seems to have cut-out on the video. Is there anything I need to do on my end to get the sound back? (fyi, the audio to your other videos is playing just fine)

    Thanks! God Bless from Oklahoma!

  • @Spectator6 Thank you for the kind words. This drill was performed in a very windy day so the audio being not so important is simply removed.

  • A MUST learn concept for bodyguarding a client, your child, your spouse, girlfriend... WHY WHY WHY isnt THIS taught in other systems???? This technique can be used to help an injured or drunk buddy home ... sooooo many applications.

  • @TheSubwaysurfer Thank you. Do you practice Systema yourself ?

  • Sir, your channel is about the only one I found actually showing drills and practice methods for systema.

Before I found your channel I was almost inclined to suspect fraud and forgery in systema.

You show that it works - and more importantly - how to make it work.

You did a lot for the development of the softer side of my art.

Thank you very much for your efforts.

Have anice day and take care

  • Dudes..I dont understand this stuff very well, but everything looked s funny to me...

  • @ransuru No , I take Filipino martial arts which opened me up to concepts of movement more than any arts I studied previously. I also did a dance form called Five Rhythms which opened me up more, looked into NIA another dance form, and discovered systema online and immediately saw its practical application, as well to its connection to other movement forms I had studied and admired.

  • I understand this, but it does LOOK very funny :)
