@Schweigasdorfa thanx man - it's an 02 CR500AF, raced it in Mammoth, thing was a lot to handle but it was faster than my stock 450 by 3 secs

@sandwich442 I would go to a 250 2 stroke cause the 500 is sooo much unneeded power especially if u are coming from a 125 a 250f is cool but not to much different from the 125 jack is a beast and makes that 500 look like his bitch so I'd say get a yz250 2 stroke

I've been riding a cr125 for 3 years now, and it got a bit slow for me when i got to try a 250.. so now i have the money, should i buy a 250 four stroke or the cr500, the cr500 looks kinda fun (: does they make the 500 anymore, or is it just old versions left ?

@sandwich422 a 250 is plenty of bike for you. the cr500 in their original steel frames are now obsolete, the CR500 motor is a 20 year old design (maybe older) but new engines are produced for Service Honda, who then installs them in late model Aluminum frames. My bike is an 02 Service Honda CR500AF. Would love to have the new ones that come in the 450 frames
