With Maya now a crew member the Alphans discover a young couple called Cantor and Zova who have been in suspended animation for some while. They claim that they are exiles from the planet Golos, following an invasion, and ask for the help of Alphan crew members to restore the planet to them. Helena and Tony accompany them to the planet Golos, where it is apparent that they are not the young innocents they appeared to be.
Once set up of safe area is secured on the moon drill down deep enough 100' or more could be possible unfortunately there would be no view. 2 other factors regarding the moon Heat and Cold of extreme levels.
Since the moon doesn't rotate ergo no atmosphere to provide a some-what stable Ozone layer therefore no natural shielding again this would be to costly. There is in no way humanly possible for anyone in the full light of Sol survive the heat and radiation

@DukeStarbuckle :The reason we do not venture to moon maned is Radiation. Getting such craft off earth would be damn near impossible ,and if so would be costly ,on the other hand we do have a space station we could build a craft from there and then slowly bit by bit build a structure on moon. This would take a combine effort of the planet to produce all the lead needed ,until we can find another way to shield ourselves from Gamma / X-Ray and so forth.

Alpha seems to have grown in the time between the two seasons.

The Invasion of the Olympic Figure Skating Duo. Tv/scifi has come a long way from the cheesy 70's but I'd love to see a remake of this series or a movie version. But only Season 2. Season 1 was crap.

@DukeStarbuckle --- not so strange. We have the technology. What we lack is the political commitment and support.

I have to thank WhiteRaraAvis again for these wonderful videos. I've worked my way through season one and I'm on to season two. I'm thoroughly enjoying every minute. And, actually, NASA could take some cues from the common sense attitude this series took to some space-faring issues. Strange that we haven't been back to the moon with all of our "new" technology. Hmmmm....

Tony: "Those are missiles!"
Koenig: "No! Those are salt and pepper shakers!"
Tony: "What does that mean, commander?"
Koenig: "Tony, I believe we're being invited to dinner."
