A seminary student falls in love with a girl, and is forced to choose between his calling into the priesthood and his love for the girl. The girl knows they are oceans apart, but gives him a chance to make a choice.

This is a sad case faced by those having to choose. Perhaps a day will come when the Church will allow for married priests, for one can love God, and the woman God gives.

In this movie, the trainee priest finally realises that he can love God just as much without having to serve Him as a priest. This film was made with the support of the Church.

  • What is the name of the movie? It seems quite interesting and the song is just perfect for that part of the movie

  • The movie is called "Love so Divine". It was made with the support of the Church. At the end of the shooting, the male star got baptised.

  • Priests do marry the church and Christ! They should be in love with Chirst and have no room for any one else, just like a married couple!

  • love so divine

  • This... I can relate....Precisely like my own story. this video just made me cry. D=

  • @iNova707 i agree. if its love, just let it grow. :)

  • my boyfriend is a seminarian but our religion of Iglesia Filipina Independiente allows to marry because there is no such evidence that the bible says that priest is not allowed to marry...it is not hindrance,,,..god said also that "GO TO THE WORLD AND MULTIPLY"....

  • actually, if you'll read the Bible, it says that forbidding to marry is a teaching of liars and demons. read the whole chapter of 1Timothy 4.

  • It's no temptation. It's love. You can love God the same way as a priest, and the church is composed by us...its not a concrete place. I still hope one day, the Vatican can be a little more realistic, condoms and marriage is not a sin, prohibiting love it is an abomination.

  • @cogs999 NO. The Catholic Church does not support this. Priests are married to the Church, and have totally given their lives to God. Celibacy is a beautiful vow because it itself is love given totally to God.

the Church does not support this movie.

  • the thing about it is that seminary is a place of discernment a place to decide. When someone is thinking about becoming a priest they are in discernment but a good way of looking at seminary is a formal discernment.. if someone was to enter into the seminary they are not tied down by any vows they take . if someone enters seminary and decides it is not where god is callling him then so be it

  • Stupid chalice chippers (women who try to take seminarians from their studies)

  • I don't know which "Church" supports this, but this is retarded. A seminarian is not chained when he enters the seminary. It's not like he doesn't know what he's walking into.

    This video is:

    Ignorant

    Stupid

    A false way to discern

It's not like they're chained - no, they freely accept this. How truly idiotic.

  • Well maybe he was never supposed to be a priest.. Overall, maybe he is supposed to marry the Girl.
