This is part 1 (of 2) of my MK4 Panther review. This is the "unsexy" part (no shooting). But, for those of you thinking of purchasing this rifle, it contains valuable information. ;)

Part 2 will focus entirely on accuracy. I will shoot groups (and perhaps some paintballs) at 25, 50, and 100 yards. I had to deal with a bit of wind, but that is the nature of November in Wisconsin. Still, I think I managed to show the capabilities of the gun.

  • All I can figure regarding the consistant power from 230-80 BAR is it must have an internal regulator, set at about 1000psi to keep the pressure consistant. That's a beautiful gun... wow!

  • @taofledermaus Yep - but the regulator is not a traditional mechanical reg (like in the Edgun or R10). The regulator in the MCT class of rifles is an electronic sensor that "tells" the solenoid valve how long to stay open. It is a remarkable piece of technology - completely different from traditional (mechanical) regulated PCP air rifles.

  • Ted you own this fifle? how much is it? im waitting on a marauder video like those you make w/ your edgun..

  • @NemudusM No - this rifle is on loan from Daystate. Check out my facebook page "Ted's HoldOver" to see updates on the Marauder .25 review. ;)

  • and yes this is my gun* Le train comes in background

  • I really like that one. Being your bro and all... Think I might get a chance to use it?

  • do you every do the high power spring gun ??

  • Ted, at 100 yards what better airgun you have tested?

  • The Crossman 2100 was also a .177, so I mean you did do a review on another .177 caliber gun, just saying..

  • @jetpowered1 That's a good question I also would like to know I been looking everywhere for one cant seem to find one anywhere in the us

  • Ted,

Where can we buy the Mamba scope in the USA?

  • @Edgun

Would you be so kind to make a review of the Walther Dominator 1250 .177 too?

It also has a regulator, max Pressure 300BAR, 1250 FPS.

  • Hi Ted, also I like HFT, shoot with HW 100 .177 in the set of Delta Optical Titanium 4-16 * 42 MD, great equipment for competition and for recreation. Produces excellent Daystate rifles, once fired from Air Wolf. I watch your videos on You Tube, well done, I'm impressed, greetings from Polish

  • that gun is £1360 were i live
