Hai2uHorst: You should ask your government what I mean by fear.... That western products have a way higher quality is not always true, its just a image that has been created based on some products that come/came from China which didn't had a high quality... the quality of a product does not reply on where it comes from nor the brand...

Fear? Fear of what? You can get as rich as you want to, it's only good for europe since we do a lot of trade with china and who cares about the US anyway? And I find it rather childish not to accept and rather deny that chinese "manufacturers" -if you want to call them that- do copy a lot, especially in the automobile industry. Which is sad, because they have more than enough potential to design their own products as some have already proven. Nevertheless our products have a way higher quality.

Hai2Horst: The whole copy-cat thing is being widely exaggerated, with everything China finds allot people say ---> ooh it looks likes this i looks like that. If it was made by another country suddenly people thing it cool but as soon as it is made by China it's a copy... Pretty childish

Hai2Horst: Hmm maybe jealousy is the word word to describe the situation. Fear is more appropriate. Because China does not have the same model of governing as western countries (EU, US) the western countries are afraid (particularly the US). While China is getting increasingly richer and more influential the west feels threatened and nervous.
