Or rather, the part where this one seems to start tiring just a bit (after the LH section), is where Bakk reaches this tempo - and that's where it sounds cleaner.
Before that, he plays slower, so maybe this one gets + for stamina.

The morons at Pianostreet say this is "sloppy", but actually this is a very clean performance - there are a few missed or "half-missed" octaves, or articulation "fails" (really just a few), but overall, very clean, dancy and musical.
Something about the LH octaves sounds blurry (I like it blurry, just not sure how accurate and controlled in this case), and the unisono part at the end is kinda messed up.
The rest awesome.
But yea, Bakk's is even cleaner and as fast:

I stayed with Alexei at the William Goodenough Trust in London when I was studying at the Royal College and I would try not to appear in the same recitals with him, because this guy always stole the bloody show, ha ha ha ha!!!!
