@Vahtacen Hmm don't see much irony, you're gonna have to clue me in.
-
@Spjungen Wow. HAHAHAAHA OMG WOW
You should take a long look at what you just wrote and figure out what's totally wrong with it.
The irony.
-
@Spjungen Not TAKE the money from the people and pretend to be spending it FOR them.

What britain needs to do right the fuck now as soon as possible is cut military spending. We here in the US need to that way more than the brits do, but you nontheless have to do it as well. Bring your troops home, you're not a superpower anymore, deal with it, we can't afford to be one either, everyone needs to stop worrying about fill in the blank-stan and start worrying about povertystan at home. The only way to do that is to stop wasting money and give it back to the people.

@frostyuk2007 The point of insurance is to cover emergencies and things that are genuinely very bad and that you weren't expecting. Nowadays people expect it to cover everything, and go to the doctor for so much as a cold and expect to have all kinds of things done that they don't even need. You can only imagine what this does to prices...
-
@frostyuk2007 America's the same, only difference is insurance eats up the funds instead of the bureaucrats. All in the name of universal coverage, low deductibles, and not denying pre-existing conditions.
The bad thing about the US situation though is that uninformed people think it's the private sector's fault when really it's government working hand in hand with insurance companies, and those companies being made to cover ALL healthcare costs.

Look at the only success story in Europe: Sweden.
How'd they manage to pretty much avoid pain from the crisis?
Sure as hell wasn't the welfare state I'll tell you that right now...
-
@Vahtacen Rofl you have no clue. Those private sectors have been socialized in the name of universal coverage, medicare and medicaid. Insurance companies are made to pay for everything and doctors aren't accountable to their patients but to the insurance company, which drives costs way the fuck up so that people without insurance can't get it. America's healthcare is socialist under the guise of being privatized.

I don't understand how the previous episode has had less viewers than this and subsiquent ones. Why would (at the time of this post) 682 people have skipped ep3 but watched the rest ?
"...in the advanced world" are you kidding me? Britian is on the way becoming a 2nd world nation, it's just not obvious yet...
