I am a Yankee fan, but I don't think George was the best thing for baseball. That said, it is not all his fault that Curt Flood screwed things up for baseball. New Stadium price/seat on average is $73. So far from the game I watched in San Diego for $5 a seat. I think this is wrong, and it has changed the game. But Steinbrenner played by those rules. Our dear Supreme Court, not George Steinbrenner, opened the door to this travesty. It seems our heroes are mortal after all. Go Yankees!!
