David Phelps with short hair, curly hair, long hair or even NO HAIR will always be a blessing to the children of our Saviour who are standing strong in the faith and not judging on outer appearance. A man of GOD with a voice in SERVICE of our LORD. The annointing rests on DAVID. I really think this is when David was in his PRIME! If you watch his "O Holy Night" rendition he looks physically exactly the same as he does here. This time period is a combination of his talent maturing, amazing motivation, and him wanting to really cement his mark on Christian Music.

Even tho im an atheist, gaither vocal band has always bin one of my favorites, they sing with such passion and has such unbelievable talent that even i want to sit like the audience always does with their arms in the air with tears in my eyes everytime i hear them :')

David Phelps is one of the most godly men there are. Besides being blessed with such an awesome voice which he dedicates to God's glory he has a wonderful ministry to the hurting. He focuses so much on sharing the love of God! That is what's important.
As to long hair when Jesus was on earth men did wear long hair compared to men's haircuts now. They just didn't wear it down to their knees or longer like women.
Thankfully God is looking at our hearts and David's is sold on Jesus!
