sorry about your loss, everybody grieves differently but what helped me when i lost my love one is the hope for the dead that the bible says at act 24 15 also keeping a journal or expressing your feelings in videos like these help, looking through photos of happier times even though its hard at first and accepting help from others helped, mourn and grieve as you must as you will never fully get over it but in time as you said you still have to make the best of life that is ahead of you

Bless you...... its very hard facing the holidays after losing a loved one. We lost my dad 4 years ago this month and its still hard. We had to bury him on my bday so that's extra hard, but holding all my memories we had together makes it bearable. Celebrate the memories :)
