South African lion tamer Kevin Richardson doesn't fear his animals. He's developed a close relationship with the lions that allows him to interact with them as one of their own. (March 20)

The critics saying '' HUUUUH YOU BE INTERFARING WITH THA NATURE ''

Can go and kindly fuck themselves. We have been interfering with nature ever since we started making clothes.

I love it when people say you are interfering with nature. People are a part of nature!

There are so few of these majestic animals left in the wild we will soon only be able to see them in captivity if things keep going the way they are. His work is amazing and is used to educate people, this being a very important factor in the survival of the species in the wild. I live in S.A. and have a front row seat to the decimation of our wildlife, these programmes are essential to the survival of all our animals as Africa will end up being home to the last truly wild animals on Earth!

The problem isn't the involvement with them and making them friendlier toward humans, it's the sick bastards that pay a lot of money for products that come from these animals, that's why poaching exist. If it were possible to just stop the poacher market all together there wouldn't be a problem with befriending wild animals, but unfortunately there isn't a way to stop it. It's sad, really, and I wish it were stopped.

Putting animals in cages = Interfering with nature

Being accepted into a pride = Cooperating with nature

I don't know who these critics are, but it sure sounds like they suck dick on a regular basis.

TECHNICALLY, we are just another kind of mammal. Homo sapiens, am I right? We are nature, lions are nature. Ain't no "interfering" up in here.

I will agree, interacting with these wild lions is only domesticating them. Therefore, getting used to humans and POACHERS. Also, this gives STUPID humans the idea that a Lion makes a great house cat. I love the devotion and care he has for these amazing creatures, but, I do not agree with going out and "befriending" wild Lions/Lionesses

I don't get the 'interfering with nature' argument, in this case. If having pet lions is interfering, then I guess our ancestors were interfering by domesticating dogs for us.
