Cupcake included a few optimizations, but the visible improvement is due to the hardware. This dev platform features and OMAP3 apps processor (OMAP3440). No tricks with GPU in this demo either, just raw performance.

the browser is much smoother here than in the G1, is it due to the new cupcake update or better hardware capabilities of this device ?
