@killerdanielle It does mean that, too. He actually only says ”まった”、from what I can here... but I put the shi, because it is the shortest version of the verb. It means like "regrettably". Like ”それ、食べた。” "I at that", then there is (for example you ate your roommates food, then they asked about it)　”それ、食べてしまいました！”(or 食べちゃった with friends）"Unfortunately, I ate that..."

When "を" and "へ" are used for particles it's "o" and "e".

@TaichiPankeeki I've seen it either way. The romaji was actually typed by my girlfriend who is Japanese. I'd assume she knows how to type romaji.
