Surviving ALS # 2 - Back to 1986

Cathy and Bob Jordan look back to very painful times, beginning in 1986, when Cathy was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease)at age 36. ALS is a devastating terminal illness and doctors told her she only had 3 to 5 years to live.
Then in 1989, visiting a friend in Florida, Cathy first realized that marijuana could help her - she stopped taking pharmaceutical drugs and started living.
In 2006, 20 years with ALS, Cathy and her friend Liz revisit the beach in Bradenton where she smoked that first joint and felt her disease stopping.

i think this upload is wonderful upload.

her progression is atypical for als and she has been blessed with a very slow progression. many other pals have tried cannabis (including myself) and it has no effect at all on their progression, but that's not to say it's not worth trying.

This is nothing new. Go read the book Eric is Winning. ALS is caused by excitotoxins found commonly in our food supply, pesticides, herbicides, genetically modified food, fungicides, chemicals in water and air. Also If you have mercury amalgams is a huge cause.

After 5 years of fighting to help my son with his traumatic brain injury, I have come to the conclusion that our "government" and all of the "governments" of the world have but one objective, genocide. Like doctors, they only wish to bury their mistakes, or make money off of them for those that agree with their philosophy of material wealth.
