Newt Gingrich speaks to a crowd of about 200 supporters at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Virginia on 12/21/11. Gingrich decries negative campaigning and "super PACs," urges his opponents to abide by Ronald Reagan's "11th Commandment," and challenges Mitt Romney to a 90-minute, one-on-one debate "anytime, anywhere" in Iowa.

  • What if Gingrich is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand authoritarian, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together his actions? This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, with unparralled hatred for non-whites & non-millionaires

In the authoritarian tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to become Speaker of the House, only to forced out in disgrace by his own party due to his corruption & lack of ethics
