MarquisDePosa53: molto grazie! All these cognescenti including yourself, can't be wrong!

@rovingeye5 I saw her as Butterfly last year at the COC, she was outstanding, easily worthy of the 5 minute standing ovation she received

3guerras:I don't agree! No amount of powerful connections or marketing skills will cover the flaws of a singer from a knowledgeable audience. Watch the movie "Citizen Kane;"! Do you ever consider the persons' feelings whom you are criticizing? Many artists are developing, working on their craft and it would be better to encourage them rather than demean them. It's hard enough to make a living as an artist without persons like yourself making malicious comments.

Roberto Aronica, is potentially the best of the current tenors before the public today.the clarity of his diction and complete mastery of his voice in any dinamic or part of his range joins with an authentic Italian Tenors ringing sound! He already is a sensitive artist and as the years go on I predict he will blossom into one of the all time greats. Forza Roberto sei Grande!!!!!! luigi.corvi.

Please, correct the tenor's surname: it's AroniCa.
how can anyone be so cruel as to say this is bad singing? Just to make it to this level of performance a singer has to be a great artist and have spent years of study and hard work. You might not like them compared to someone else but don't categorically put them down! Rather make your criticism constructive.

I saw Aronica this afternoon at the Met..he was great, as was Patricia Racette. Bravo to both. Minghella's production of Butterfly was phenomenal.
