Mark Gilston plays a traditional English Country Dance jig on mountain dulcimer.
"The Swan and Harp" was the coat of arms of the Company of Musicians. It had a swan with outstretched wings and a double tressure. This became satirized as an image of a flapping goose kicking the bars of a gridiron as a public house sign, and so the name "Goose and Gridiron" was born.
