The Victims of Voter ID Laws

Last year, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker passed a law requiring citizens to show identification at the polls. While two state judges have blocked the law from going into effect, if the injunction is lifted the law would likely disenfranchise thousands of voters. The Center for American Progress visited the state during the contentious recall election to investigate.

The bottom line is, if you want to vote, then just get a Valid ID. If however, you're too lazy to get an ID, Then voting is not important & Don't Vote!

A passport only for traveling? How about identification when stopped by police? Or entering government buildings? Don't you think passports are for more purposes than traveling only?

no we don't need a passport just to live in our country. that is for when we travel to other countries. there are people that have never left our country. seeing as how you are not from the states we have something called voter registration here. which has never showed a big enough problem that would suggest that it needs to be modified. there has only been a .0008% of voter fraud recorded in our country with the current voter registration.

very close minded on that and not to mention you don't allow for differing circumstances that follow into each state not to mention the timing that it was carried out. i do know about you but i wouldn't want to trust the DMV with my right to vote in time.
