Adam Mynott of the BBC tells us all about a "good natured demonsration" in Khartoum, with "smiling faces". Sky News reported an "angry mob" calling for the execution of Gillian Gibbons. Who's telling the truth? Judge for yourself... See also my later video of the Ten O'Clock news with a quite different emphasis. Read the full story at Biased-BBC.blogspot.com.

  • How is an outright protest calling for a heavier sentence than 15 days to the extent that some called for the DEATH penalty "not a furious outpouring of anger"? Especially when clearly any sentence at all is too much?

Shame on this BBC reporter, and shame on the BBC for allowing this kind of report.

And fuck these morons who have twisted the very concept of an insult in this way. I have no sympathy for them or their hideous abomination of a religion.

  • Amazing - how could the reporter present the Islamist view that this woman insulted Islam, and then pretend that a rabid mob waving swords were good natured! Just astonishing! And this is supposed to be a 'British' Broadcasting corporation?

I suppose this just about sums up the shoddy quality of BBC news these days. Surely the reporter means leading a parliamentary delegation to Sudan, not Britain, at the end??

  • people...it is a bear...how can your be insulted by a simple bear name "mohammed" what is so insulting about this? nothing so i thing you govermentals of both britain and other lands should claim down putting someone in prison over a bear is overdramatic and wrong.

  • People are normally born into religion, i was and it's easy to understand why we belief in a single religion... because we were taught to, with the religion that our culture allowed us to be taught. Most normal passive people don't believe in religion, of course there is no single god. I've been very lucky to live all over the World and see jesus_allah_buddah_mohamed_ganesh all the same. Let's help educate one another.

  • If you're looking for the truth, you won't find it on the BBC news! As usual, the BBC twists and distorts the truth not only in this, but in almost all of its news output. Being far from impartial, its pro multicultural, anti British/American slant spills out into much of the rest of its programming too.

I look forward to the day when the UK have a government with the guts to pull the state funding which props up the biased BBC.

  • This warped and twisted coverage by the BBC isn't at all suprising. If you're looking for the truth, you won't find it on the BBC news!Funded by an enforced TV tax, this (supposedly impartial!) bloated organization continues its biased leftist, multicultural slant on a daily basis, not only on its news output but on most of its programming too.

It's time the BBC either stood on its own two feet or, better still, ceased breadcasting.

  • There are other criminals that really deserve to be in jail !! ....that is so stupid....she was helping there...EDUCATING your children...retard morons....FOR GOD SAKES !!

  • I dont think the BBC is pro-Islamist at all. This is just 'moderate' by Islamist standards.
