1973 Charger se Part 2

pt 2 of my 73 number matching 318 charger, just broke in cam and had good freind and son tag along in my 06 gmc two door shortbed, 4.8 cold air and etc, in case of breakdown, turned into a head to head, charger is not tuned in but what the hell why not, she can drive!!! she jumped on me as i let out to get beside her on the first one but i was gaining fassst n hit traffic, pt 3 coming soon!!!! built 318 daily driver 99k original miles, was way out on timing and secondaries opening way late, etc etc, still not bad for first time out that truck is no joke!!!!

And i just did some more checking, that 4000 lbs charger with that mild mannered 318, its got 2.71 gears in the diff, so if i didnt love top speed so much id throw some 3.73 and a stall in her and whoop his stangs ass myself!!!! gna post a top speed run, then just may show him i can run 13s with him all Damn Day, lol Jerrys final thought!!!

do u know of the 73 anomaly how much dose ur 73 mopar weigh i had a 73 dart and it weigh 5000 lbs siting on the curb and my 69 dart only weighs 2800 it b\c in 73 most mopars were stamped out of 16 ga sheet metal insted of 18 ga it made the cars weigh almost a 1000 lbs than the prev. or after year cheeck it out BTW nice charger sounds good tooo =3-

@xoxoXoieoxox I drove both Chargers over the scales, the gold one, build date 9-73 wheighed in at 3700, the green one 3800 with build date 9-72, the funny thing is the green one feels 500 pounds lighter!!! at the time the green one was STOCK with spare tire and jack, time machine!! the heavier gold one, aluminum intake and headers, gold ones fenders feel thicker all over really, so maybe it only makes a couple hundred lb difference, dont know,, still checking it out 8-)

@curtknows101 huumm thats strange i know my 73 dodge dart weighd 4855 lbs b\c it still had the factory door tag and i tell u i have a 69 dodge dart demon and doing body work betwen thee two is night and day like u sed it realy haks a good hit to fix a dent in the 73 but the 69 works like normal metal good to hear from u =3-

@gtdrummerdude Now that you own mustangs you think you can shit on everyone else. his Charger may not be as fast as your 92, but who the hell cares? Mustangs are outplayed, every possible combination to a 5.0 has been done. Its boring. Ford Mustang owners are the equivalent of honda civic owners.
