I have a bunch of video clips of the MU-2 that I wasn't sure what to do with. These have been compiled over the last few years of flying the MU-2 or filming my friend's planes. I wanted to share them with you but wasn't exactly sure how I wanted to present them..i.e. a bunch of individual clips or similar groupings, etc. So I took them all and pieced them together into a single flight. While it may appear that you are following one airplane from start to shut down, you are actually jumping around from plane to plane. I have included an interior shot of my Marquise. I know that several of you have asked and I'll try to piece those together on future videos. If there is anything you want to see that doesn't show up in the videos, send me a message and I'll see what I can do.
For those of you that may be viewing my videos for the first time, it is probably apparent that I am an MU-2 owner, pilot and fan. Despite the reputation of the plane (which I can assure you is not accurate) I have throughly enjoyed the nearly one thousand hours and three plus years that I have had the opportunity to own and operate them. I have a Marquise and a -10 K model that we use for business and pleasure. The airplanes are fast, efficient, dependable, fun to fly and are still factory supported. Questions? Send me a message. I am happy to help out in any way possible.

  • I heard the MU-2 requires a type rating even though its under 12500

  • @aimpoint101 It does not require a type rating. It does require FAA mandated training on an annual basis much like the Robinson R-22 helicopter. As a result of the training, our safety record has been outstanding. The owners/operators welcome the training as most were doing it anyway and it keeps the folks who shouldn't be flying a high performance aircraft out of the left seat.

  • how do you mount your camera? great video.

  • I have a couple of the suction cup mini mounts from Delkin. They are great. Check out my Fort Pierce to Bahamas video. I have another mount that I explain about half way into that video and I have a picture of it.

  • Great video. MU-2s are very cheap to acquire on the used airplane market nowadays. I've seen some go for around $325,000 to $675,000 on Trade A Plane.com. Too bad Mitsubishi doesn't make them anymore.

  • @gregmink It ought to be a damn good safety record given the some what unsavory attention the airframe gets. I like how if an MU-2 has so much as a runway incursion that the aviation media heads jump on it. But, whenever something like a King Air bites it, they don't so much as bat an eye.

At anyrate, this video kicks ass!

  • Excellent video and a very cool aircraft.

  • Are u rich?
