Remember when bubbles inspired childhood memories instead of a financial crisis? If you are looking for life insurance protection with the potential to accumulate cash value but are nervous about the volatility of the equity markets you may want to consider Incentive Life OptimizerR and Incentive Life Optimizer IIR variable universal life insurance policies with the Market Stabilizer Option investment option. This innovative investment option offers upside potential (up to a cap) and some downside protection.

The Downside Protection feature of the Market Stabilizer OptionSM (referred to in the policy as the "Segment Loss Absorption Threshold Rate") is the maximum percentage decline in the S&P 500 Price Return index that will be absorbed under the Market Stabilizer OptionSM at the maturity of a Segment Term. The Downside Protection, based on the claims-paying ability of the issuing company, is currently -25% (and may be subject to change). There is risk of substantial loss of principal since you will absorb any loss in excess of -25%. Due to these special risk factors the Market Stabilizer OptionSM is not suitable for all investors.

An Early Distribution Adjustment will be applied to any amount distributed from a Segment prior to its Segment Maturity Date, except upon the death of the Insured. An Early Distribution Adjustment may substantially reduce the amount of the policy and your premium prior to a Segment Maturity Date. Additionally, if a policy loan, policy distribution, or monthly deduction is allocated to any Segment, there will be a corresponding Early Distribution Adjustment to the Segment Account that will generally reduce the Segment Account by the amount distributed from the Segment and the Early Distribution Adjustment.

Incentive Life OptimizerR and Incentive Life Optimizer IIR are issued by AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company (AXA Equtiable), New York, NY 10104, and is co-distributed by AXA Advisors, LLC and AXA Distributors, LLC (members SIPC -- www.SIPC.org) both located at 1290 Avenue of the America's, New York, NY 10104. AXA Equitable, AXA Advisors, LLC and AXA Distributors, LLC are affiliated companies and do not provide tax or legal advice.
