everything sounds kick ass... except the back-up lyrics. lol. he doesnt sound like he's saying anything, it just sounds like he's screaming randomly with the beat.

Haha, The Agonist...emo? I love Arch Enemy, don't get me wrong, but Alissa and her lyrics are a more addicting drug than Angela's.

To clarify, Alissa does not use any form of effect pedal or processing on her voice both live and on the album.
And lets not get ahead of ourselves, both Angela and Alissa are very talented vocalists. I personally prefer Alissa for her versatility but it's not always a competition, just enjoy the music.
Agonist's first record was mainly metalcore (including this song), but if you listen to their recent one they've completely changed and got their own thing going now. It's awesome.
