  • I agree with you brother.

  • Who attack them and why? Oh yeah, they said it was a terror attack so I guess will never know. Funny how the term "terror attack" stops anyone from asking the basic question of who and why?

  • this man is a hypocrite. He killed46000 innocent Iraqis and many more in Afghanistan.Thats 10x worse than 9/11.And he never supports us Muslims who are also under attack by these terrorists.9/11 is an everyday thing being caused by these filthy pig terrorist and GW. We muslims are just in the middle of it and we are the victims. Then not just that we are also abusedby many non-muslims because of the lies put out on the media. Quran say if ye go into battle ye shall not harm anyone not even a tree.

  • i liked this video :)

i cant watch this video hB

  • Thank you. You see. Now were having an intelligent conversation about something that's true.

  • San Marino has been a constitutional democratic republic since 1600 and their original constitution stands. They are small with a population of a small town, but they hold the claim as the longest standing democracy. The others are debatable, but this one isn't. You will probably dismiss it as insignificant, but it is its own sovereign nation and is a member of the UN.

  • cg66079: Cut the crap. Unless you can prove to me that there was an older democracy then the United states of America. Then don't bother responding...

  • cont.

I was going to make the point about our system being selective until the middle of the 20th century, but that has already been brought up.

  • First, he didn't say world's oldest standing democracy and there are many societies, including the previously mentioned Icelandic Democracy, that has reasonable claim to that title.

Second, we are not a "true democracy" even today. We are a democratic republic, republic being the operative word and democratic the modifier. We also have elements of socialism and dictatorship. There hasn't been a true Athenian Democracy since the death of Pericles. Even Rome was a dual system.

  • Ya but Iceland has been on and off since then due to Imperialism. There recent government started back in In 1814.

Im well aware of my country's Independence and I know its government didn't establish itself until a decade or so later.

George bush was right. It is the longest standing democracy to this date.

  • You also need to define "democracy," for example when were women or afro americans allowed to vote? Was it ALWAYS truly a democracy?

Iceland might have a claim, their parliament dates back to 930.
