I think the gist of Ed's rant is that you will never get a country patriotic song written for an African-American President. And he was being facetious Alyona =o) Besides, Gretchen Wilson and most other country artists are proud to be "Rednecks". It's not calling them a bad name, just calling it like it is.

I agree, country music is annoying but Ed Schultz was trying to make a point. He was trying point out the hypocrisy that rednecks have about patriotism, religion, etc. They think they are Republicans while Jesus taught to help out the poor (planned parenthood) but republicans want to take it away.

Damn I use to like Alyona but her not getting Ed's satire shows how stupid or ignorant she really is. Maybe I just get it because I have have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor.
