Since there is already a "Fun In The Morning" promo for their game show lineup, here's NBC's soap opera promo as "Love In The Afternoon" from 1975 (years before ABC used it) featuring "Days Of Our Lives", "The Doctors", "Another World", and "Somerset." Of those four, "Days" is the only one still on the air!

Love this!!! Does anyone know the name of the musical track in this piece? It is awesome and has a very Renaissance-like quality..Gosh, this is perfectly 70's....I love the look and feel of this piece...I'm glad I happened upon it...Although I don't know who any of these actors are as this is way before my time, it really is an excellent glimpse of what the 70's were like in terms of looks and styles. Everyone appears very mature and yet attractive.

She played Jinx Avery on THE EDGE OF NIGHT in 1982. She replaced the future Mrs. Steven Speilberg (Kate Capshaw) in the role.

Somerset (and later, Texas) was a mistake. DAYS, AW and The Doctors was the hot topic then. Somerset totally ruined the block, and after Somerset, AW expanded to 90 minutes. It was Texas that bumped AW back to 60 minutes, and pushing The Doctors to a morning timeslot. That was a horrible ruin in the ratings. Texas was a mistake.

Paul Rauch tried his damndest to ruin Y&R these past few years. Thank GOD he's gone. And the show is soooo much better now!!!!!!
