Didn't those buttons he pinned to his sweater eventually break his back? Just kiddin'-
He was a major part of my morning TV viewing in the mid to late '70's. When his show ended and especially when he died a few years later, it was like I lost a family member.

I know what you mean... the Nostalgia of the Ramblin Rod show will live on in our memories until we are gone... Then there will only be these videos on You Tube or whatever exists with nobody left to really understand the true meaning behind our childhood memories...
Consider all those who have long passed on 100s of years ago and what memories they took with them only to have just a glimpse maybe written down in some dusty old history book.

Is that Smokey the Bear I just saw? But oh how I miss Ramblin' Rod. I'd been watching his show every year from 1986 'til his end of time on TV.
