This English-language adaptation of the Swedish novel by Stieg Larsson follows a disgraced journalist, Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), as he investigates the disappearance of a wealthy patriarch's niece from 40 years ago. He is aided by the pierced, tattooed, punk computer hacker named Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). As they work together in the investigation, Blomkvist and Salander uncover immense corruption beyond anything they have ever imagined.

  • Had these critics actually read the book, alot of these questions they had about confusing actions and motives of different characters would have been easily solved. Call me cheesy but, this is why you should always read the book first.

  • I wonder if Fincher is ever going to do something original..

I think Christopher Nolan is 10 times better

  • I loved the ending because it made me rush to the book store to get the second. That's what a good writer does. But I guess I can see how it would leave you unsatisfied if the next movie isn't out. Overall I didn't like this review but that's probably just because I've read all three.

  • Terrible review. They spent like half the time discussing about the character being "victimized", but... SPOILER ALERT

    ...

She only talks about her past and what happened to her in ONE scene, far to the end of the movie, and that scene is there not to victimize her, but to show that she is opening herself to Mikael. And because of that the ending is not disapointing, its kinda poetic, because she is finally being close to someone, but she gives up when she sees him with the other woman.

  • Craig: Better Mikael Noomi: Better Lisbeth

  • what the hell they talk about, it had finished case was solved..everybody went their way..

  • Very good movie

  • Here we go again w/ white people Praising movies that star white people , but putting down a movie like Red Tails that stars Black People. Well I also watched this movie and I liked Noomi Rapace in the original better.

  • these idiots are hard to watch.
