  • @850ovlov Yes but the SC1 was developed in Belfast, Northern Ireland so technically it's a British aircraft. The SC1 was never sold to Hawker, they just used certain design influences from that aircraft in developing the P.1127

  • @weslake898 Yes, its total crap

  • @aspiringdrummer17 The vtol was developed in Ireland as the SC1 and later sold to Hawker in Britain who developed it through the P.1127 and kestrel before the harrier ever flew. The SC1 was flying in 1957 long before the harrrier.

  • Now that is MUCH better than the F35. Fantastic. Saw the Harrier at Duxford when I was 8, still remember it now. SOOOOOOO much better than any plane that has come from America

  • @johnathan72984 the F-35 isnt an air superiority aircraft either, and the f-35 is also designed by the brits.

  • That's cheating

  • @johnathan72984 Us Brits don't consider the Harrier an "air superiority aircraft", it's purely an amazing aircraft in it's design and ability. For air superiority, I refer you to the Supermarine Spitfire.

  • @weslake898 Made safer with American computer systems.

  • All I have to say is F-35 too all britts who think the harrier is an air superiority aircraft.

  • @jtp6194 Who do you think it was that invented the Harrier you idiot. Maybe you should take a look at America's attempt at VTOL aircraft, the Ryan X-13 Vertijet. That was a pile of shit
