    I just listened to a couple of different versions and some other dude does the same...

    strange.

  • I believe Kubrick used this version in 'Clockwork'.

  • This is likely the 1958 recording of (as the title says) Ferenc Fricsay conducting. This really is a spectacular recording, I do agree.

    If you can find one at your local library or maybe on the internet, try looking for either of the Felix Weingartner's recordings, both are superb.
