Sergey Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2, with Kun Woo Paik. I know most people like Gutierrez, but for some reason I really like this one.

Why does it cut off so soon at the end?! Totally ruins the musical silence that should have been left hanging!

Since we are all entitled to our own opinions, Ill just say think that this is by far the most emotional recording of this piece. Many of the others take it far to fast for my taste, especially at the beginning. And who can beat the brass sound this recording has in the fourth movement? The only possible contender is the Chicago Symphony's recording of Mahler 1 on here, or perhaps the small section of Strauss' Eine Alpinesinfonie recorded with the Berlin Philharmonic.
