Thats a beautiful looking instrument Bernard.....has the scratchplate been changed ...All of the SJ,s that I have seen have had plain tortoiseshell...I know the one that I owned for several years had a tortoiseshell scratchplate...but that was a later 60,s model with square shoulders

Yes it's true the pickard is not originel and it was changed with a Hummingbird.

Southern Jumbo? The pickguard kind of makes it look like a hummingbird.
