In 1991, Nabil Shaban starred in a TV drama, that was especially written for him, called "Deptford Graffiti" by Sheila Fox. The play was about a disabled inmate of an insitution
for the "incurables", who is mad on motor bikes, Hell's Angels and Heavy Metal music. He is adopted by a gang of bikers,who help him create a giant mural depicting his life of
anger, frustration and imprisonment. He loses his virginity to the bike leader's Moll. The drama, directed by Philip Davis and also starring Mark McGann and Sharon Maiden, was
screened on Britain's Channel Four television 16th February 1991.
