i have the same glitch! im gonna try that quitting job thing.. which is ANNOYING because im on level 8 in the cooking industary :|

@Dennishaywood THX! My sims Kimberley has that wish glitch i made her quit her job and both glitches gone :)

SAME PROBLEM :( its so annoying if i view another place besides my house it goes away but if i go to build and buy it will come back. Does anyone have any soultions? One of my sims has the wish glitch too! Please someone give solutions to both of these glitches.

Same exact thing happened to me! its pissing me off so much. It stops if you turn sound effects off but once u turn em back on it keeps going

@Dennishaywood Yes that really works!! It happen to Me on the Xbox 360 and I quit my sims job and nomore of that Haunted ass song!! Thanks Man!!

There is another glitch in the sims 3 world adventures. Let me say: just save before you travel! XD

This happened to me too. :( It gets on my nerves SO bad. One thing that "works" for me is muting the sound effects in the audio tab in the settings, but the other sound effect (the clicking and chirping from selecting things) are also muted. I think what we really need is a patch. :P Hope this helps.

I have just found that if you select the sim with the wishes and oportunities glitch and quit their job it stops the sound effect. Hope it works for you all!
