This is a 2003 rehearsal tape and the VERY LAST recording EVER of the legendary "Latinaires" of the 70's (Little Joe and the Latinaires)! Rocky and I (Steve Ober) managed to get them all back together for one last gig and I am not only EXTREMELY honored to have been a part of this EVENT but am humbled by the extraordinary occasion as well. Some of these musicians are no longer alive and many are no longer around! So this was not only historical but rare and priceless. They will never be assembled as a group ever again and I hope that the significance of that escapes no one! Clara (Rocky's dear sweet daughter) just reminded me of this recording...Hense it's significance!!

  • How did you know bro !!

  • Hey Steve, this is awesome stuff, and thanks for sharing it with us. I just picked up Rocky's rarest lp titled TRISTE PENSAMIENTO, recorded in 1972 on Buena Suerte Records, #BSR-1032...what a killer picture of Rocky on the cover! This LP was once in the archives of radio station WMUK in Kalamazoo, Mich. Keep it coming...brother!

  • Thanks Bro ! Rocky is my best friend !!
