@Smola666 I'd say because it was so long ago he was just thinking back to when he did work with Bowie. He toured with Bowie around 1995 but recorded I'm Afraid Of Americans with him on Bowie's 1997 album Earthling. Personally that's why I think he got mixed up. Bloody awesome anyway..
