  • A UPDATE on this vac. The original brush roll bearings got bent when it got caught on the kitchen rug. I ordered a new brush roll and belt and when the new brush roll came it was WOOD instead of plastic but made in USA though. I didn't order the parts from hoover though.

  • @lexmarks567 The bearings were probably fine, but the metal axle that goes between the endcaps (if it has one - didn't take mine apart) probably bent. Did you get the new brushroll off of ebay? A lot of aftermarket brushrolls are wooden I've noticed. As long as it has a good axle and bearings it shouldn't matter. What are the bristles like? Many of the aftermarket ones I've seen have very soft bristles, and don't do much as far as beating the carpet goes.

  • whens dyson video coming? :)

  • @Parwaz786 Sorry. My parents won't give me the Dyson back lol. They like it better than the Concept One and and the Oreck... I'll have to get the Hoover up there someday to do the comparison.

  • whats a trash pick tag??

  • @Parwaz786 it's a sticker that you have to buy in some areas to throw out a large appliance or furniture.

  • @general0ne do you use these vacuums allot

  • @general0ne Just what is the point of naming that Hoover the Elite if it doesn't get everything?

  • well when people do through out a vacuum there generally not expecting someone to take it out of there garbage sooo ya.

  • @general0ne The Shark Infinity would do a better job at sucking up that Styrofoam.

  • Try washing the filters don't use ur wet vac that's not gonna get the wet dog smell out

  • That filter is washable... Mine had a lifetime cloth... But it was a Windtunnel 2 or something the sort. OH, use an air-compressor.
