@docvox Thanks for your reply. I'm totally ready to try a laryngoscopy exam, if that's what you mean. But are there any anatomy / biomechanics "classic" manuals that students should read of should have read during their laryngology stuides? I understand the question is tricky: I suppose a prerequisite would be for me to do med school, which is not my case here... Thanks for you time and help,

Your videos are very clear and interesting, even for a complete non-professional like myself. I sent you a lengthy message asking you for advice on good reads for beginners who'd like to understand how the vocal apparatus works when we sing. I'd really appreciate your advice on this. Thanks for taking time to post videos too. Cheers

@trudbol I am not sure I can make a suggestion about reading. I don't know who has written clearly and simply from the understanding I describe in theses videos. I can't claim to have read everything. And not to say there are no other knowledgeable people, but there are a lot of "folk beliefs" that seem to get passed on in much of the material I am familiar with. I think looking at a lot of videos, or if you have the opportunity to film your vocal cords with someone can be a learning experience.
