Porcelain Veneer & Crown Technology w/ Yaletown Dental

i got a veneer because I chipped my front tooth and the crown would have caused alot of damage to my natural tooth

Oh my God they are making conventional prosthetics with alginate inprints.....Or you are crazy as hell or dumb then dumber.....

Is there like a health risk or something?

i think i need these cuz my teeth are not the buisness.

or err veneers...

I have to get my front teeth done too cos i chipped them badly and they were fixed but not too well, so I figured crowns are the best thing to do, they seem to be the best solution, but I have a question, can u see a difference under certain conditions, daylight, artificial light, up close, etc? thanks in advance

you can't even tell the difference... when the dentist put a temporary crown on my tooth she told me not to chew gum...of course a few hours later i was chewing gum! I COMPLETELY forgot i had me temp crown in! It felt like my own tooth, of course the temp crown is a little rough, the real crown is slick and smooth, just like my real teeth :)

They are great for what teeth are designed for...eating.
And at $1000 each, no one should do anything that might damage even a natural tooth...like biting nails. Bite only food instead.

i wish i would have gotten these. Im getting crowns instead. I have temporaries in right now and there are driving me crazy! im worried about how my life is going to be with crowns.

I feel like I made a big mistake. I thought I was getting veneers. I thought thats what a crown was. Im very depressed.

Sometimes veneers are not enough and crowns are the answer. Everything will be OK. Your new crowns will look great and will feel and look like natural teeth. You can cheer up. You will love your new smile.
