its sticking out a little far but it does sound like stock but put a different cat on there and im sure it will sound kickass

Indeed, with a midpipe, these type of exhausts are great because not as loud as Borla, Hymee or HKS for example but better than what you hear now, in fact they sound loud only when you want them to, but in idle or cruising it's like stock.

So Remus, Supersprint, Sebring and all those type of catbacks have a second chance with owners with midpipes who have enough of bothering their neighbourhood or having too much police tickets for excessive sound.

you should check my video with the mazdaspeed catback, its a much better exhaust for the rx8. sounds a hell of a lot better too
