im surprise how alot of women can be so stupid& put up with there husbands or boyfriend's abusive ways? there was this girl i like &she like me alot 2. she would call me everyday saying that she was gratefull 2 have met me& that she liked me & wanted 2 be with me,& would also tell me she wasn't worthy of being with me cus i was so good looking4 her but i would tell her not 2say that & i would compliment her so i could boost her confidence up? next thing u know her exman shows up about 11 months

@TheTokyo1 i don't think you can say women are stupid because they live with their abusive partner.. there are reasons that ties them down.. it is not always easy to get out of the marriage that has failed. xo

This is such a good video. I wish I'd seen it when I was trying to leave an abusive marriage. You are right, it takes a long time and a lot of work to slowly, slowly break away from an abusive man. You need to find a good friend or family member to support you when you need help to leave an abusive situation. I cried many nights, was so sad, sick, helpless. But you just have to cut him off. Cut him off and don't look back. Even if you have kids, just get away for everyone's sake.

@swillou2 yes you are right, sometimes you cut an arm that has cancer.. to allow the rest of the body to live. I hope you are doing ok now. Tell us how you are doing and how you managed to leave..

Call 911, photograph injuries withe your cell phone, file a police report as soon as possible. Call a domestic violence hot line which 911 can give you, and get to a domestic violence shelter. Make sure you have your ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, title to your car, home or any other property. Go to your DA's office to file a Protective Order on your own, or with a lawyer! If you can hide cash or empty bank accounts do it...you will need some money even if it's for a taxi ride! GET OUT!

@TheTokyo1 Well said. Aside from putting up with their abusive husbands/boyfriends ways, they always reject other nice, docile men who would never abuse them. Docile men might appear somewhat weak but hey, they are by far the lesser of two evils compared to mean, abusive men.

I have no choice; I'm disabled I can't drive or do much for myself. I rely on him to feed & help me in the shower. My parents ask are you better off with or without him. I say with him cause I can't do necessary things I need to do to take care of myself. I have no friends. If I leave I would feel bad. I'm with the money he doesn't work. I had him kicked out and he lived on the streets and the guilt I felt made me more sick.The abuse isn't enough yet. When it gets there I'm gone.
