KARAOKE VERSION:
If any of you are interested in doing a cover, send me a personal message with your email and I will send you the karaoke version of the song :)

STORY BEHIND THE SONG:
My freshman year of high school, I had a huge crush on this guy who never liked me back. I would think about him all the time, hoping that one day he would like me back. One night, after liking this boy for about a year, I had a dream that he liked me. The dream was so perfect and I thought it was real...until I woke up and was hit with reality: this guy had no interest in me. I wrote a song about unrequited love and waking up from such a perfect dream, called "Goodnight." "Goodnight" ended up being selected to be in a movie that is coming to theaters in 2011, called Soulstice. (Movie website: whosluna.com. The name of the song was changed from "Goodnight" to "Luna's Dream" for the movie. You can hear in on iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/lunas-dream/id366109538 ) When the song was selected for the movie, it was also decided that they would premiere "Goodnight/Luna's Dream" at a Teen Choice Awards pre-party in Hollywood, where I mingled with celebrities and walked the red carpet. That party was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. But, the movie and the party and the trip to Hollywood never would have happened if that guy my freshman year would have chosen to like me. Basically, "Hello Hollywood" is a thank you to the guy that never liked me because he caused me to write "Goodnight" and have some of the coolest experiences I've ever had. I also learned that there are other, better guys in the world than the guy I was obsessed with. Soon after writing "Goodnight," I met a really awesome guy who I started dating, and it was great to move on from that one-sided, freshman crush. Anyway, I hope that makes this music video make more sense. And remember, if the person you like doesn't like you back, keep an open mind about meeting other people. Because you may just end up meeting someone who's way better :)
