At the time this was recorded, they were 11, 12, or 13. The bass player for the band couldn't make it, so their instructor is playing bass.

That's the band instructor. The bass player (DeeDee) couldn't attend the event, so he filled in.
Here's a note: The drummer was sick this day, but he played anyway. Puked twice in the parking lot and kept a small bucket next to him just in case he needed to puke during the performance. As they say, the show must go on...
