UPDATE: unfortunately, Chase passed away at the age of nearly 15 last month. (Feburary 2010) -- we all knew it was going to happen eventually, but that doesn't make it any easier. R.I.P. Chase. we'll never forget you buddy! he was the most lovable dog you'd ever meet.

a video i took of a local neighborhood cat teasing our 13 year old weimaraner dog named Chase through the glass in the door.

i don't know the cat's name, but she's really friendly and stops by our house now and then and i play with her a bit. i'd let her inside but the dog would probably hurt her.

  • sad news to deliver.. chase passed away last month (feb. 2010) at almost 15. gone, but NEVER forgotten! we all miss you terribly chase! <3

  • What's with the muscles in this dog.

  • i think it's mostly fat. he's really old. when weims get older they tend to develop fat deposits. this vid is close to a year old now, these days the poor guy is pretty much just laying down because his hips are hurting. poor guy. great dog though.

  • RIP Chase. Losing a dog is never easy. Losing a Weim is like losing a son or daughter. I lost Buddy 2 years ago on 4/3/2009. It almost killed me with a broken heart. I finally have had enough time pass that I'm now getting another one - in about 2 weeks. We can never replace them but we can share the love we have with another. I hope you're doing ok.

  • haha my neighbours cat does the same to my dog !!

  • A cat did this to my dog through our front gate once, and kept doing it for days. So my dog hid under the car, the cat didn't see him so it climbs over our wall keeping an eye out for our dog of course. Not seeing the dog under the car, the cat jumped down right in front of our dog. The dog Grabbed the cat in its jaws and shock the hell out of it, unfortunatly for the dog he lost grip of the cat......we havent seen the cat come into our place or taunt our dog since. :)

  • @kingcrimson234 your cat looks a lil musculer as well lol

  • Wow 15 is a very good run.

My Airedale was unusually large, lived through the tough quarantine when we brought him with us out of South Africa to New Zealand and retired from guard duty, passing away 5 years later at 12 years.

Probably would have gone longer had the vet not screwed up his arthritis medication (gave him double dose unknowingly for who knows how long).
