OMfG, I grew up watching this, lived just outside of Philly (yep, ch 12, WHYY). Pulled some memories outta the closet. I used to LOVE this program. Most of it I don't remember, but the theme song is embedded ! ! ! Wish I could buy it on DVD.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there an episode of Mr. Dressup where Casey and Finnegan dreamed they were on Friendly Giant? It would have been a Mr. Dressup -- Friendly Giant crossover.

One of my favorites growing up.

Wow...they used to show this on Ch-12, WHYY, in the Philly area back in the sixties. You could get beat up for admitting that you watched it. Saw it again in the mid 90's on Starz. My kids loved it.

@Jaime8585 I imagine that as each of these giant animals kept showing up the townspeople would just shrug their tiny shoulders and point them towards the castle
